Join our very special 3-day air tour to experience the breathtaking splendour of Tasmania - and enjoy her many delights.

Day 1: Albury - King Island
Check in at Smartair and feel free to leave your car here. Wing your way southwest enjoying the sights of Lake Eildon and Phillip Island and remote Bass Strait islands from the air before arriving for a delicious lunch at renowned King Island. Your private afternoon tour provides insights into King Island's crayfishing and seaweed industries as well as intriguing shipwrecks.

Wynyard - Strahan
From King Island, fly by Stanley and its famous landmark, The Nut, before a quick refuelling stop in Wynyard. Then head southwest for a birds-eye view of the World Heritage listed Tarkine Wilderness before landing on the remote but splendid west coast at Strahan for our overnight stay at Strahan Village Cottages. Highlights include a short performance of Australia's longest running play, The Ship That Never Was, which tells the dramatic true story of the last convicts' great escape from the isolation of Sarah Island, before dinner.

Day 2: Strahan - Hobart
A private morning cruise on the stunningly beautiful Macquarie Harbour includes a visit to Sarah Island, fish farms, and magical Gordon River scenery. Time to explore the pretty harbour town of Strahan before flying southeast over the famous waterways of the remote and rugged Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park and Bathurst Harbour before heading east to Bruny Island, over the mouth of the Derwent River and landing at Hobart for fuel.

Hobart - St Helens
Take-off towards the Tasman Peninsula, home to infamous Port Arthur, then head north along the stunning east coast of Tasmania. Highlights include a bird's-eye view of such famous places such as Maria Island, Freycinet Peninsula, Wineglass Bay, Bicheno, and more... After landing at St Helens your guide transports you to your charming accommodation at Ironhouse Point (or similar). A delicious dinner and other special experiences await...

Day 3: St Helens - Pyengana
This morning's ground tour takes us inland to a valley of lush pastures encircled by steeply wooded hills. Settled in the mid 1800s, Pyengana has become a haven of laid-back agricultural enterprise. The fertile river flats are home to a dairy industry that produces award-winning cheese. You may also experience the spectacular St Columbar Falls and the rustic Pub in the Paddock. Head back to St Helens where your aircraft awaits.

St Helens - Flinders Island - Albury
Fly north along the spectacular Bay of Fires, see historic Eddystone Point lighthouse, overfly Cape Barren Island - home of the eponymous geese - and land at Flinders Island in time for a delicious lunch featuring local produce. Your Flinders Island experience includes learning a little of the Aboriginal history, travelling through farming areas, and enjoying spectacular vistas from special vantage points. Your scenic air tour takes you home over oil rigs in Bass Strait, the beautiful Gippsland Lakes, the Great Dividing Range and so to Albury.
