Smartair recognises the value of business working together with voluntary groups to enhance the quality of life in our community.
We encourage those who strive for excellence in their chosen pursuits (as we do), particularly in the creative arts. In 2007, we commenced sponsorship of the Albury Wodonga Art Society.
We’ve enjoyed helping this voluntary group achieve some of the recognition it so richly deserves, and look forward to working with them to enhance regional cultural and artistic opportunities.

At Smartair, we are concerned about the issue of climate change and we actively manage our operations and growth to minimize our impact on the environment. From helping create carbon sinks, right through to using low energy office equipment, we are doing our bit to save the planet for future generations.
As a leader in the general aviation industry, Smartair is participating in Parklands Albury Wodonga’s Growing Green carbon offset program. Growing Green will revegetate our parklands, through extensive plantings of both trees and under storey plants.
We have selected this method of carbon sequestration because it contributes to our indigenous local ecology. Enhancing biodiversity and repairing degraded lands is a smart idea that can make an important contribution to reducing the greenhouse effect.
