He specialises with the charter side of the business and advanced flight training after gaining approval for Multi-engine and Instrument training.

With over 10 years of flying experience, Richard a former Smartair student and Albury local, comes to the Flying School with significant survey flying experience throughout QLD and NSW and working with aviation students across NSW and VIC.

In 2022 RAAus appointed Richard as our first RAAus Chief Pilot and as a Grade One GA Instructor, Richard conducts lessons for both GA (Single & Multi Engine) and RAAus aircraft.

Tim comes to Smartair with Instructor experience at Lethbridge Flight Training. As a GAWNE Aviation graduate Tim spent his early experience providing comprehensive in-class and practical flight training with students at RPL, PPL and CPL level.

Tim will work with our SMA students during their Ab Inito phase of training and Navigation Sequences in our GA Flight Training Division.
